(NASDAQ: XLNX), the world’s leading supplier of programmable solutions, today announced availability of Virtex™-4 QPRO™ MIL-grade family of aerospace and defense products. The delivery of the first domain-optimized Virtex-4 FPGAs to the aerospace and defense marketplace provides the industry’s most comprehensive ‘space to base’ device portfolio with higher performance, lower power options and full military temperature-qualification. Today’s news continues the FPGA leader’s proven track record of delivering products that address the performance, flexibility and quality requirements of the aerospace and defense markets and further expands the reach of Xilinx FPGAs into the $1 billion programmable logic segment.
